This is a nice gadget to have with your GoPro or equivalent camera. It pulls out a medium distance to ensure that you can get all the overage that you need. It also comes with a safety wrist harness so if you do drop it you have the harness to back you up. The grip on the bottom of the handle is good and you won't have any difficulty holding on to it!
